DARK SOULS - BOOK
There’s a story, usually attributed to the Native American tradition which is an elder talking to his grandson “Every heart holds two wolves. One is the white wolf, who is made up of love, kindness, respect, decency, compassion, and all the things that are good in life. The black wolf is born of jealousy, hatred, pettiness, prejudice, and all the poisons of the human personality. The two constantly war with each other for dominance. And one day, one wolf will overtake and devour the other. ” The boy thought about it and asked: Grandfather which wolf wins?
The old man quietly replied : THE ONE YOU FEED MOST

Overall, Dark Souls combine psychological elements, historical beliefs, and storytelling to shed light on the presence of evil within humanity. It encourages reflection and introspection, urging individuals to consider which wolf they are feeding in their own lives.
The project explores the duality of human nature and the concept of feeding the "black wolf" or the inner demon. I used the idea of classifying demons by month, drawing inspiration from the beliefs of the 16th century, and incorporated inkblots into my visuals because they are commonly associated with psychology and how the individual nature of evil can be perceived differently by each person. The inclusion of stories about evil individuals and their crimes, classified according to their birth month and associated demon, allows for a comprehensive exploration of the topic and provides concrete examples of the darkness that can reside within people.
